# 1.1.1 AWS account

**Step 1 :-** Enter a name for your AWS account and provide your Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.<br />
**Step 2 :-** Select the AWS regions you want Zero-X to scan for resources and security risks.<br />
**Step 3 :-** Verify your credentials to automatically fetch your AWS Account ID.<br />
**Step 4 (Optional) :-** Enable Cost Explorer Sync to import cost and billing data, and/or enable CloudTrail Sync to pull activity logs for deeper security insights.
