# Sonarqube Integration

# Connecting the SonarQube Integration

This guide walks you through setting up and verifying your **SonarQube Integration** to enable code quality analysis, security vulnerability tracking, and test coverage metrics.

## Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration, ensure you have:

* Access to a running **SonarQube** or **SonarCloud** instance.
* A generated **User Token** with appropriate permissions from your SonarQube profile.
* *(For SonarCloud users)* Your **Organization Key**.

## Step-by-Step Setup Guide

### Step 1: General Configuration

In the **General Configuration** section, enter the baseline information for this connection.

| **Integration Name** |  **Yes** | A unique, recognizable name for this setup.         | `SonarQube - Production`      |
| **Environment**      |  **Yes** | Target environment selected from the dropdown menu. | `Production` or `Development` |

### Step 2: SonarQube Credentials

In the **SonarQube Credentials** section, enter your authentication details and instance endpoint:

1. **Base URL** *(Required)*:
   * Enter your host server's full URL (e.g., `https://sonarqube.yourdomain.com` or `https://sonarcloud.io`).

2. **Organization** *(Optional)*:
   * Enter your organization key.
   * **Note:** This field is only applicable if you are using **SonarCloud**.

3. **Token** *(Required)*:
   * Paste your SonarQube user token into the **Enter User Token** field.
   * Click the **eye icon** (`👁`) inside the field to toggle visibility and confirm the token was entered accurately.

### Step 3: Verify and Save

1. Double-check all entered configuration fields for accuracy.
2. Click the **Verify Integration** button in the bottom-right corner.
