Finding Overview Steps

Step 1: You can see ### Finding option left menu bar click on ### Discover and click Inventory. Step 2: View all your Findings data resources. Step 3: Select a data source from the filter, such as AWS or GCP, to view the corresponding Findings. Step 4: Click on any finding item to view the Graph, Similar Affected Resources, Activity History and Remediation.

Security Findings Graph

The Security Findings Graph provides a visual representation of the relationships between cloud resources, CSPM findings, and compliance findings. It enables security analysts to quickly understand which findings are associated with a resource and how they are grouped.

Graph Components

Resource Node

The graph begins with the selected cloud resource. In this example, an Amazon S3 Bucket is displayed. The resource node contains:
  • Resource name
  • Resource type
  • Cloud provider icon
  • Region
  • Severity counters
  • Number of connected findings
Selecting the resource highlights all associated security findings.

CSPM Findings Cluster

The CSPM Findings cluster groups all Cloud Security Posture Management findings related to the selected resource. Each card represents an individual security finding, such as:
  • S3 Access Block should block publick ACL
  • S3 Bucket Logging should block public policy
  • S3 data should be version
  • S3 Encryption should ignore public ACL
The cluster can be expanded or collapsed using the Collapse button in the upper-right corner. Grouping findings reduces visual clutter while preserving the relationship between the resource and its findings.

Compliance Findings

Compliance findings are displayed as a separate expandable cluster beneath the resource. The cluster displays:
  • Total number of compliance findings
  • Expand option to view individual findings
Selecting the compliance cluster reveals all compliance-related issues associated with the selected resource.

Relationship Lines

Purple connector lines represent relationships between:
  • Cloud resources
  • CSPM findings
  • Compliance findings
These relationships help visualize:
  • Which findings affect a resource
  • Resource-to-finding dependencies
  • Security impact paths

Interacting with the Graph

Expand or Collapse Finding Groups

Use the Collapse button in the CSPM Findings group to hide or show individual findings. Benefits include:
  • Reduced graph complexity
  • Improved navigation
  • Easier visualization of large environments

View Individual Findings

Each finding card displays:
  • Finding title
  • Finding category
  • Associated service
Selecting a finding opens its detailed information, including severity, description, and remediation guidance.

Review Compliance Findings

Click the Compliance Findings cluster to expand and display all compliance findings related to the selected resource. This helps determine whether the resource violates organizational or regulatory compliance requirements.

Example Workflow

  1. Open the Graph tab.
  2. Select a cloud resource.
  3. Review connected CSPM findings.
  4. Expand the CSPM Findings cluster if additional details are required.
  5. Expand the Compliance Findings cluster to review compliance issues.
  6. Select an individual finding to view detailed information and remediation guidance.
