Connect Azure Account

Follow these simple steps to complete the setup modal and securely input your Azure service principal details.
Zero-X for Client

1. Configure Project Information

Provide the following information:
  • Data Source Name
  • Environment

2. Enter Azure Credentials

Provide the Azure Service Principal credentials:
  • Tenant ID
  • Subscription ID
  • Client ID (Application ID)
  • Client Secret
Note: Ensure the Service Principal has Reader access to the subscription.

3. Verify Integration

Click Verify Integration. Zero-X validates:
  • Tenant ID
  • Subscription ID
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret
  • Azure connectivity
  • Required permissions

4. Complete Setup

Once verification is successful:
  1. Review the details.
  2. Click Connect.
The Azure subscription is now available for cloud security analysis.

1. Project Configuration

General information about this data source:
  1. Data Source Name: Enter a clear, descriptive name (e.g., Production-Azure, Staging-Azure).
  2. Environment: Click the dropdown menu and select the environment type (e.g., Production, Staging, Development).

2. Azure Credentials

Provide your Azure App Registration / Service Principal details:
  • Tenant ID: Enter your Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Directory / Tenant ID.
  • Subscription ID: Enter your Azure Subscription ID containing the target resources.
  • Client ID (Application ID): Enter the Application (client) ID of your registered Azure app.
  • Client Secret: Enter the client secret value generated for your registered Azure app.

3. Verify & Finalize

  • Click the Verify Integration button at the bottom right to test the connection and complete the setup.
