Connect Gitlab Account

Follow these simple steps to complete the setup modal and securely integrate your Gitlab environment for AI-driven analysis.

1. Basic Configuration Follow below steps

  1. Once you logged in you will navigate to Dashboard.
  2. Go to the integration and click on Connect button to add GITLAB Datasource.
  3. Enter Gitlab URL.
  4. Enter Personal Access Token.(Click on view guide to generate Personal Access Token ).
  5. Environment: Click the dropdown menu and select the environment type (e.g., Production, Staging, Development).
  6. Click on Verify Integration button.
  7. Select Gitlab Repository.
  8. Click on connect button.

GitLab Integration Setup Guide

This guide explains how to connect your GitLab account to Zero-X.

1. Open the GitLab Integration Modal

Navigate to the Integrations or Account Settings section in Zero-X and select Connect GitLab. You can also select GitLab from the provider list to open the connection modal.

2. Enter Your GitLab Instance URL

Locate the GitLab Instance URL field, which is required.
  • GitLab Cloud: Use the default URL: https://gitlab.com
  • Self-hosted or enterprise GitLab: Replace the default URL with your organization’s instance URL, for example: https://gitlab.yourcompany.com
Make sure the URL matches the GitLab instance where your repositories are hosted.

3. Provide Your Personal Access Token

Generate a Personal Access Token (PAT) from your GitLab account.
  1. Sign in to GitLab.
  2. Navigate to User Settings / Profile → Access Tokens.
  3. Create a new token with the required scopes, typically api or read_repository, according to your organization’s integration requirements.
  4. Copy the generated token.
  5. In the Zero-X GitLab integration modal, paste it into the Personal Access Token field.
Security note: Treat your access token like a password. Do not share it or commit it to source control. Use only the minimum permissions required by your organization.
